Trust in the Lord and you will also set your mind free from the oppression of worry. Keep your mind focused on the Lord whom you are trusting to help you solve your problems and not problems and you will be at peace even in the middle of your problems for His Word promises that You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. (Isaiah 26:3)
You will be so peaceful that you will even be able to sleep in the middle of your stormy stressful situation because you trust the Master at the helm completely even if you don’t understand why the storm is taking so long to calm down.
Trust Him even when you do not understand why you are going through what you are going through. Remember that when Lazarus became sick, his sisters Martha and Mary sent a message to Jesus. On getting the message, Jesus said, “This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.” (John 11:4)
This was not something that Martha and Mary could have known as they watched their brother’s condition worsen until he died. They did not know why Jesus delayed in coming to see his dear friend and came after Lazarus had already been dead and buried for four days.
