The idea of teaching devotionals came to me as I thought about the type of articles most people would like to read. My goal was to make it non-controversial, interesting, practical and brief. Besides this I wanted them to be true to the context and have a teaching ministry. Teaching devotionals has accomplished all of this.
I have discovered that there are two ways of interpreting prophecy. The first is literal and the other is symbolic. The problems are usually avoided when we understand the intended meaning of the text. Happy is the man who can recognize this and communicate it clearly.
Finally, this book is intended to be non sectarian and non-controversial, with the goal of reaching a greater number of people through an unbiased presentation of biblical prophecy. May God grant this to be.
