some years ago I received a phone call to my cell phone and it was my daughter on the other end who at the time was only twelve or thirteen years old.
She said to me, daddy I have a problem and I need some of your wisdom.
Now my immediate response to this I did not reveal to my daughter, because I must confess that I did not even realize that my daughter accepted me as a person of wisdom.
As she continued to tell me what was pressing on her mind, she said, I have this friend at school and he knows that I am a christian and that I believe in God, but he said to me that he would not believe in God until someone could satisfactory explain to him how God could not have a beginning nor end.
She continued to say me, now daddy, I am not trying to question the existence of God, because I believe in God, but I also know that all things have a beginning, and the bible teaches that God do not have a beginning nor end, how can this be daddy?
And what the Lord explained to me that is what I later told my daughter
And then he gave me his definition of the word nothing under this context. He said that his definition of the 'nothing' is no-thing, and that he is the only one that meets the qualifications,
that is, when you subtract or remove all things it equals who God is, He is no-thing.
And there is no way to measure nothing, for God is without measurements. Nothing is without beginning nor end.
