book excerpt
Sometimes ignorance is not as blissful as we suppose. Consider this …what if you had an inheritance that you knew nothing about and you went through life in poverty never knowing that you were in fact very rich. I believe that many times we do just that. The Bible states that God owns the cattle on a thousand hills [Psalms 50:10 ] and He put all things under our stewardship [ Genesis1:28, Psalms 8:6-8 ]. I am not advocating that all Christians should be rich in material things, but God has promised to supply all our needs. Therefore, as children of God we ought to expect to have our needs met.
God does expect us to do our part. He is not some ‘genie’ we can command. But He does place in our hands all that we need to get through this life successfully. These next three chapters deal with the keys He has placed in our hands to allow us to do just that.
