Before I get into the meat of answering the question about whether the Bible Shows That God Chose Barack Obama for President, let me show an awesome example in the Bible of how God is able to communicate to the human race in such an awesome way that the only conclusion you can draw is this: It Had To Be God! I am sure that all of you are familiar with a little country on the Planet Earth by the name of Israel. Well, this little country might be one of the smallest countries of the world, but do not think for one second that this little country does not have some POWER behind it. And I am not talking about the power demonstrated in military might or the power shown by having the United States as a major ally. The POWER that I am talking about is the POWER that the One and Only True Living God can demonstrate at the time it is needed. The Bible points out in the book of Isaiah, Chapter 44, an amazing prophecy. Verse 28 says: “That saith of Cyrus, He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the temple, Thy foundation shall be laid.” The thing that is so amazing about this, is that Cyrus, who was the king of Persia, (Not a king of Israel), was identified as the one who would deliver the Jews more than 140 years before the event actually took place. The Prophet Isaiah was so accurate in foretelling this future event that he was able to give the exact name of the king 140 years in advance. Isaiah 45:1-5 says: “Thus saith the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut. I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel. For Jacob my servant’s sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me. I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me.” Another thing that is so amazing about this passage of Scripture is that Cyrus, who once again was a Persian king, was identified as “Anointed.” This word “Anointed” means Messiah. It has been documented that this is the only place in the Bible where a non-Jewish person has been called Messiah. This term was first used in Israel as a custom of anointing kings and leaders. So this shows how God can use whomever He wants to use to accomplish the things He wants to do. Cyrus was not even a follower of the Jewish Faith, yet God chose to call him to be the one to deliver Israel from Babylonian bondage. God demonstrated how He is the One who controls human history by letting the Jewish People know 140 years in advance that He can specify the very name of a person and what that person will do. Of course the most awesome thing about this is the fact that every event that was foretold came to pass, with all the details that God had spoken to Isaiah. In 539 B.C., Persian history shows that Cyrus indeed conquered Babylon and decreed that the Jews were to return to their land and rebuild Jerusalem and the temple. The bottom line is this: God has spoken many times through His prophets and apostles in the Bible to let mankind know the things that He intends to do to shape human history. The Bible is such an awesome book. Even today, the Bible has a lot to say about human HISTORY THAT HAPPENS IN THE FUTURE. It is the only book we have that accurately tells us in advance about events that will take place in the future. Yes, it is true, God has already told us what the future holds for the human race, but the sad thing is that the majority of the people on the Planet Earth are spending every day of their lives not being aware of the TRUE INFORMATION contained in the #1 Best Selling Book in the history of mankind, THE BIBLE. Let us get back to the main question at hand: Does The Bible Show That God Chose Barack Obama to be the 44th President Of The United States Of America?
