What it takes to write
You must be willing to write, writing requires knowledge and skill, that’s the truth. If anyone is telling you a different thing, handle the information with care.
Why does writing require knowledge and skill?
Except for personal memoir, every article, book, journal etc., contains information for other people who are different from the writer. The writer’s intention is usually for the readers to understand the information he or she is passing to them and to act on it appropriately. The information can be about anything; for example, it might be just a story to make people relax and laugh or it may be highly classified technical information. Whatever it is, the readers should be able to read, comprehend and respond to the information in an expected way.
Intro:
The knowledge and skill must match what the audience expects and it must be in a way that it will not be ambiguous, confusing or indefinite. It must not be hazy or poorly presented, it must be coherent and conclusive so that the reader can act appropriately and timely if need be.
A writer must acquire the knowledge and skills for writing if they are to make an impact on their audience; - the readers.
