If ever there was a rainbow
I would love to see one now
To look into the heavens
And follow to the ground
The colors are seen clearly
They snap from red to blue
Yellow, green and auburn
To me they are so true
Even though they are so bright
As I approach they just take flight
No closer than I was before
Still I try to explore
For giving up is not in me
God gave me the world to see
