Arms of the King
Come to Me
When you are weary from unyielding responsibilities
When your heart is heavy from many trying burdens
And your mind is full of confusion
I will comfort you
And banish the worries and cares that encompass you
Keeping you from experiencing the joy I have for you
Come to me
And I will dry your tears
As I enfold you with my eternal love
If you will let Me…
I will be your personal bodyguard
The protective barrier against evil
Know, that with Me,
You are safe
Nothing will harm you
I will not allow it…
I love you!
You are very special to Me
For you are one of many in My kingdom…
My child
My creation
So come to Me
My faithful one
My arms are open
Patiently waiting for you

I wrote this poem from God’s perspective and how I might feel if I were Him and my children were ignoring me or just not taking the time out to remember me. I would want my children to know that I am still there for them and just waiting for them to come into my open arms where I can hold them and care for them for the rest of their lives.
