The dune was by Moon River, Which flowed, a mile wide, To the Sea of Tranquility, Drawn by the daily tide. Inside the house of barren rock A lunar fellow dwelt, Who nightly cracked his moon roof To view Orion’s belt. The locals called him Houston And he was prone to weep 'Cause Houston had a problem— At night he couldn’t sleep. Fishing was the commerce, and An export from the moon— Starfish were caught within the Sea, Then shipped off to Neptune. On Neptune, flambéed starfish was A savory delight. But the starfish were elusive And were only caught at night. Two lunar factions fought over The starfish fishing rights, Faction A and Faction B Kept Houston up at night. Their constant fighting halted Starfish exports to Neptune. And the conflict worsened, leaving Houston Sleepless on the moon.
