The book is a collection of biblical scriptures and images supported by words of encouragement and inspiration. It is meant to be read as a reflective personal study that encourages the reader to look beyond their circumstances and seek the heart and wisdom of God using scripture and images. The book does not claim to hold any answers as to why we go through our various trials and tribulations. Instead the Author takes the reader through a spiritual journey of contemplation through thought provoking encouraging Scripture and images.

Finding God in a storm was originally written around 10 years ago for people who were going through a hard time facing depression, bereavement and loss. The book as it is today was independently produced. Only around 6 or 7 copies were produced due to the production costs and impracticability of the costings of the book. The technology that we now take for granted now was simply not available. Printing on demand was still out of most Authors reach and as an independent author to print out in colour was an extremely expensive task. So I let the book go into a deep sleep. It sank into obscurity waiting patiently for the digital age to descend in full. With the arrival of the kindle and other ebook readers I was able to not only produce the book at a price which was at a marketable rate but also present the images as they were intended to be shown. Beautiful, crisp and sharp. In the original book I had kept the writings to the bare minimum. The reasoning behind this was to remove the burden of reading loads of text particularly when your feeling down and depressed. A picture or image speaks a thousand words within a blink of an eye. I have largely maintained this principle in the second edition but with certain images I have expanded the explanation to give you the reader pause for personal reflection, and quiet time with the Lord. All of the images have been digitally remastered and new illustrations have been added. It is my hope that the book will help to energise and inspire your personal walk with God and help you to feel better about your situation to inspire you in your christian life.
